How do you know if you purchased a reservation on a High speed train & or a regional train?
For example, if I select Stresa to Milan (#51 EuroCity) at 9:39 am and Milan to Venice (#9717 Frecciabianca) on June 4, it shows the 1st class Normal Fares at $108 per person. I "assume" from the website that this would be for a "high speed train" and a specific seat reservation is included in the fare.
However if I click the "slow train only" box, the exact same trains/schedules are shown, but it shows both an Economy fare ($25) and a Super Economy Fare ($13) for the Stresa to Milan (#51 EuroCity) portion. So, how does one know whether they are on a High speed train or a slow train; i.e., relative to whether or not a specific seat comes with the $25 or $13 fare?
How does someone know if they are getting a specific reserved seat, before they make the reservation? Can the passenger request a specific seat? Can 3 separate passengers request 3 specific seats?
