Hello, The seating is assigned by the train line based on availability. Sometimes the site may allow you to request specific seats before checking out, but if Trenitalia cannot confirm them, the system will automatically assign the seating based on what seats are available. We are unable to change your seat assignment(s). We suggest you arrive early to your departure train station and ask a Trenitalia Customer Service agent to make any seat changes. Or, check with the conductor when you board the train to see if they have any available seats.
