I'm sorry but I don't understand. What were you trying to book, and if it was for 19 August, the problem is that when we get to close to the departure time, we can't access the tickets and you will need to purchase the ticket locally.

I'm sorry. I am traveling to a number of cities in Italy in October, 2015. I printed out a tentative itinerary on August 17. Printed it and made some changes. Then I went into site today, August 19, to produce the itinerary with changes and book. However, the site did not save to my itinerary. So, I could not book.
Another question. Since all the trains I am using have unreserved seating, does this mean if there is no seating available on the train I have scheduled, I can take another train on the same route at a different time?

Our site does not save anything you were looking at once you leave our website. You would need to start over to book the tickets. And yes, if you book tickets on trains where no seat reservations are possible, you can use the tickets on another regional train, between the cities you chose for up to 60 days from the date of purchase.
