I just booked a ticket from Depart: | Verona Porta Nuova 06 Sep 2015 12:26 | Arrive: | Bologna Centrale 06 Sep 2015 13:51 |
and on the email it states;
This PNR is a Self-Service Ticket.In order to board the train you must first print your ticket at the Trenitalia ticket window at your departure station. This station ticket window is open during these hours:Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 21:00
Saturday: 06:00 - 21:00Or, you can print this ticket in advance at any larger train station (click here for list) in Italy that has a Trenitalia ticket window.
Please note that Trenitalia self-service ticket machines may not be able to print your ticket. Please allow extra time at the station to collect your tickets from the ticket window.
VALIDATE YOUR PRINTED TICKET IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO BOARDING. The printed ticket is valid for travel for 6 hours following validation. The validation machines are green & white on the front with "Trenitalia" written across the top and have a red backing (some older validation machines are yellow). They are located on the train station platforms. Failure to print and validate tickets prior to boarding will result in a fine payable to the conductor. however the ticket for a train is on the Sunday and so the stations Trenitalia window is closed and we wont beable to print one in advance (only time we could do so is at Verona on the 2nd of september) Please advise
