Chiusi to Naples at 11:45 is direct meaning no train change?
We (7pp)are flying to Rome(3days)-train to Florence(3days)-driving to Gaiole(3days). Looking at easiest, fastest way to get to Amalfi from Gaiole. (We will have driver from Naples to Amalfi). It seems the easiest is to return car at Chiusi station and take train to Naples. The question is...better to take the 11:45 direct to Naples with no train change (a bit longer travel) or Take the 10:57from Chiusi to Rome and connect with the 11:45 to Naples. Other trains to Rome have tight connections and I don't want to take a chance at missing it. We have been told to avoid driving back to Florence to return car and catch train. It seems like the simple answer is to take the 11:45 from Chiusi to Naples, but I want to be sure I am not missing anything. Thank you for any suggestions.
