Penalty Charge Refund
My friend and I are from Singapore and this is our first time to Italy. We have travelled from Venezia to Firenze on board train no. 9451 just on 06Aug2015 and have booked the ticket under order no. ITE184499.
After the train departed from Venezia, we then realised we got the ticket for the wrong date 07Aug2015 when the conductor checked our ticket. No sure if there was an issue with the date selection because I doubled check while booking the tickets. We booked a total of 5 trips and there was some connection issues while booking- there were 2 earlier failures under order nos. ITE184484 and ITE184487.
We have paid an additional 90EUR for the trip and an 100EUR as penalty on the train to the conductor under the ticket no. AW3943031.
We promptly checked the remaining trip and noted issue with the dates as well. We have arrived at Firenze and the helpful station staff assisted us with the amendments to the remaining trips.
However, as tourists, we hope to get some assistance as to how to get the refund for at least the penalty.
