I'll be going from Switzerland to Venice / Rome and back to Switzerland. I am thinking of booking all my train tickets (via. this web site). In one of the Switzerland web sites, I read that: (Link: http://www.englishforum.ch/travel-day-trips-free-time/169739-best-cheapest-trai
"I've just looked at the Seat61 website and in the section "Switzerland to Italy" it says that the trick to get the best price is to 'split' the journey into two; from anywhere in Switzerland to Milan, then to buy tickets from Milan to anywhere in Italy using the Italian railways website. However it then warns that one can buy tickets with Trenitalia on Switzerland to Italy trains, *but* tickets can only be collected at Italian stations or via an address in Italy and can't be printed off or collected in Switzerland".
Is it possible to book tickets in Lausanne (Switzerland) get the tickets in the email (or message on Phone), print them and use them for journey in Italy (via. this website)?
Do I need to give my shipping address (in Lausanne, Switzerland) inorder to ship the tickets to Lausanne (there is an extra shipping cost of $30 in the website) or is it possible to directly email them to my gmail address and use them for my journey in Italy...?
In the extream case, is it needed that I should collect my train tickets (I book in this website) in a train station at Italy? Please suggest, I am a little confused after reading the above link in englishforum.ch website.
